Terms of Service

By accessing or using Dukan (“the Platform”), operated by Index Digital Limited, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under Ugandan law. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account or allow unauthorized access.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

When using the marketplace, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, truthful listing descriptions and pricing.
• Fulfill orders in a timely manner as agreed with the buyer.
• Not list prohibited, illegal, or counterfeit goods.
• Not engage in price manipulation, fake reviews, or fraudulent activity.
• Comply with all applicable Ugandan laws and regulations.

All transactions on Dukan are protected by our escrow system. Funds are held securely until the buyer confirms delivery. See our Escrow Terms for full details.

Dukan may charge transaction fees, which are disclosed before you confirm a sale. All payments are processed through our integrated wallet and mobile money systems. Sellers are responsible for any applicable taxes on their earnings.

All content, branding, and technology on the Platform are owned by Index Digital Limited. Listing content is owned by the respective sellers, who grant Dukan a license to display it on the Platform.

We provide a dispute resolution process for transaction-related issues. See our Dispute Resolution Policy for details on how disputes are handled.

Dukan acts as a marketplace facilitator. We are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Index Digital Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct that harms the Platform or its users. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kampala, Uganda.
