How escrow works on Dukan
A complete guide to Dukan's escrow payment protection system.
What is escrow?
Escrow is a secure holding account managed by Dukan. When a buyer pays, money goes into escrow instead of directly to the seller.
Protection for buyers
Your money stays in escrow until you receive and confirm the item. If something goes wrong, you can dispute before funds are released.
Protection for sellers
Escrow guarantees the buyer has already paid. Once delivery is confirmed, funds are released to your wallet automatically.
Auto-release safety net
If the buyer doesn't confirm or dispute within the auto-release window (48–72 hours), funds are released to the seller to prevent indefinite holds.
Dispute integration
If a dispute is opened, escrow funds are frozen until the dispute is resolved. Our team reviews the case and decides the outcome.
